Located in the Metropolitan Museum Historic District on Manhattan’s Upper East Side just one block from The Met, this building was originally constructed in the 1890s and retains its well-preserved original appearance. For many decades prior, it has been a prominent art gallery showcasing 18th to 20th century European artwork.
Today, it has become Memor Museum, focusing on the promotion and exploration of Asian cultures. Regularly hosting innovative and interactive exhibitions through international and community-based collaboration, it merges cultural, educational and digital elements. The museum covers approximately 6,500 square feet, including exhibition halls, event spaces and office areas. It began trial operations in April 2024 and will open officially in October 2024.
Located in the Industrial Heritage Fashion Corridor of 751D·PARK in Beijing’s Fashion Design Plaza, adjacent to the art-centric 798 District, the site was originally the State-Owned 751 Factory, established in 1954. In 2007, 751D·PARK was officially established, transforming the historic site into a cultural and creative industry park focused on art and design. In 2019, the 751 Park was included in the "Second Batch of National Industrial Heritage List."
Today, Memor Digital Museum (Beijing 751) had settled into this historic site, simultaneously engaging in its preservation and modernization. It has transformed the site into a base for cultural creativity and technological exhibitions, regularly showcasing themed-based exhibition series.
Memor Digital Museum (Chongqing) is located in the former Roosevelt Library in Chongqing, established in 1938 as one of China’s significant modern commemorative library buildings. It was renamed in 1947 to honor U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt for his substantial support to China during the Second Sino—Japanese War.
In 2019, the former Roosevelt Library was designated a Major Cultural Heritage Site under National-level Protection by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
Today, Memor Digital Museum (Chongqing) is being established at this site in collaboration with the Roosevelt Library. The project involves the preservation and restoration of the building to revive its historical presence alongside launching exhibition series and projects.
