Chongqing Site

Memor Digital Museum (Chongqing) is located in the former Roosevelt Library in Chongqing, established in 1983 as one of China’s significant modern commemorative library buildings. It was renamed in 1947 to honor U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt for his substantial support to China during the Second Sino—Japanese War.

In 2019, the former Roosevelt Library was designated a Major Cultural Heritage Site under National-level Protection by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.

Today, Memor Digital Museum (Chongqing) is being established at this site in collaboration with the Roosevelt Library. The project involves the preservation and restoration of the building to revive its historical presence alongside launching exhibition series and projects.
